Vessel Assistance is a Quest in Villagers & Heroes.
I’m doing a good job ingratiating myself with the Rolumbites but I’m secretly thwarting them too. I told the new recruits to go back home and stay out of the Rye. They did. But now I need to take over their duties. I need to assist Cranmer with the Vessel of Becoming which is part of their upcoming Ritual of the Moon. No clue what this vessel is, must be a boat.

- Find and speak with Cranmer
- Collect 10 emerald rye logs
- Defeat Mickelo and collect his blood
- Defeat Nitral and collect his whisker
- Defeat Foserith and collect a barb from his back
- Defeat syzzon and collect her stinger
- Return to Cranmer
- Collect 5 Amethysts of the Rye found inside mud piles near the river
- Return to Cranmer

Walkthrough
- Allister wants me to find and speak with Cranmer = camp D/E2
- Collect 10 Emerald Rye Logs C2.
- Defeat Mickelo and collect his Mickelo’s Blood E5.
- Defeat Nitral and collect his whisker = Nitral’s Whisker D2.
- Defeat Foserith and collect a Foserith’s Barb from his back F2.
- Defeat Syzzon and collect Syzzon’s Stinger G/H5.
- Return to Cranmer.
- Collect 5 Amethysts of The Rye found inside mudpiles near the river D3 and give them to Cranmer again.
- This ends the quest. You will also receive a Jar of Rolumbo Blood.
- Keep talking to him the follow up quest: Stealthy Maneuver.
Dialogue
Cranmer: "Who are you? I was expecting the three new recruits. They're late!"
You "I'm here in their place. May the purple blood of the Rolumbo flow through you!"
Cranmer: "Glory! We've got to assemble the Vessel of Becoming, as it's crucial to the Ritual of the Moon. We need the best of ingredients! Will you collect them, <Player Name>?"
You "Yes, I'm on it. Glory, glory, glory!"
Cranmer: "Well, hurry up, then. Cloten the Wise wants everything to go according to schedule. The purple mist of the Rolumbo will be rising soon. And you know what that means!"
You "Totally."
Cranmer: "Best make haste!"
Cranmer: "Ah, I can feel all the pulses of the Rolumbo plants in the Rye quickening with excitement for the Ritual! Did you get everything needed for the Vessel of Becoming?"
You "Sure did! Yeah, I can totally feel all that veggie excitement, too!"
Cranmer: "The new recruits were also supposed to fetch adornments for the Vessel, so I'll need you to retrieve those, also. Amethysts of The Rye are needed, found only in the mud of the river Rye!"
You "We definitely want the Vessel to be properly adorned!"
Cranmer: "Indeed! Five Amethysts are needed. You can find them on the shores of the river. I'll build the Vessel in the meantime."

Cranmer: "Wonderful! As you can see, I have assembled the Vessel of Becoming!"

You "Um. That's not a boat, that's an ALTAR. You said you were building a vessel!"
Cranmer: "And I have. This is the Vessel of Becoming of course, for 'She Who Will Be Sacrificed'. Now you mustn't tarry, <Player Name>. Cloten the Wise requires your assistance, but I've one other little task for you first."
You "YOU'RE SACRIFICING SOMEONE? Or, I mean, um, what is your task for me?"
Cranmer: "Bethesda has just converted a long-time cynic into our fold! Drinking Rolumbo Blood always has a way of removing the doubts of cynics. However, she worries that Gibraltar has not consumed enough of it. So take this jar of Rolumbo Blood, and give it to him. Return to me afterwards."
You "Oh, not Gibraltar! Gah, I mean... okay."
Cranmer: "He will become a dedicated follower of ours from here on out!"
