Secret Operatives is a Quest in Villagers & Heroes.
I am back on the trail of the Black Thrush! And it appears someone was sent to speak with me, a man named Bartholomew.

Objectives
- Speak with Bartholomew at Rabeka's camp in Aberdeen Heath.
- Find the operative, Coleman, in Aberdeen Heath.

Walkthrough
- Rabeka told you to talk to Bartholomew, who stands next to her. Choose the 2nd option in the chat = the secret code.
- It seems that Bartholomew is sent by Lady Philippa to give you a message.
- Coleman is at E/F4, along the road. He has been bashed on his head.
- This ends the quest but keep talking to him to get the follow up quest: Coleman's Reclamation.
Dialogue
Bartholomew: "Can I offer you a piece of Crispy Crusted Pelter Pie?"
You "No, thanks. Pelter pie crusts make me break out in banana shaped hives."
Bartholomew: "Phew! You know the secret code. I had to be sure. Lady Philippa sent me to give you a message. She's heard from Samuel. He and Nadia are hiding in the Withering Woodlands, and they're safe. She'd like you to join them. Have you learned anything about the villains who killed the Royal Council?"
You "[Give a full report.]"
Bartholomew: "A bomb? Oh, no! You've got to stop them, <Player Name>! We have secret operatives in many regions, including here in the Heath. But we haven't heard from our man here in several days. His name is Coleman. I must report your news back to Lady Philippa at once! Then I'll go to the Withering Woodlands in your stead. Seek out Coleman."
You "Yes, of course!"
Bartholomew: "Good luck, and be safe, <Player Name>!"
Coleman: "Oh, my head is killing me. I'm still seeing stars. My whole body feels like it was run over by a giant cart of boulders."
You "What happened, Coleman?"
Coleman: "I'm not really sure. I just finished scouting the area and was about to make some supper, then something or someone, suddenly bashed me over the head. I only just now came to. What is the latest news?"
You "[Fill him in on recent events.]"
Coleman: "Sweet Celestia, a bomb? Maybe they haven't assembled it yet. Or maybe they have. Or maybe it's not here. Or maybe it is. Gah! So many questions, and my aching head can't handle them all. We need answers, <Player Name>! And my rucksack is gone!"
Gained 8400 experience!
You "What was in it?"
Coleman: "It was filled with all kinds of essential supplies! I bet while I was knocked out, the Goblins took it and divided up its contents. Could you help me get it all back? We'll need those supplies!"
You "I can help out of course!"
Coleman: "You should check with both the northern goblin camps, as well as the one just to the south. See if you can find my Healing Balms, Disguise Kit, Enemy Location Detector, and Lock-Picking Kit."
