Mining is a skill in Villagers & Heroes.
Mining is the hard hitting gathering line. A player can mine all sorts of valuable ore and minerals from various mining nodes throughout the Seven Realms.
Gather Locations
Experts in Mining can gather from a very large variety of locations, or nodes. Click on a gathering node to use your Mining Skill and a Mining Pick to harvest the material it contains. If your Mining level is equal to or greater than the level of the node, you will always succeed at harvesting something. If your Mining level is lower, then there is a chance that you will fail to harvest anything. The further below the level of the node you are, the less likely you are to harvest anything.
Mining Rock
Using a Mining Rock will mine ore up to two levels below and two levels above the level of the Mining Rock, with the exception of the Gandymeade Grove Mining Rocks, which only have ore of the same level.
Safe places to gather for those who don't like combat:
- Ethos Island zones and Ardent Hub (Cronk Island and Ardent City): gatherable nodes for all levels 1-10.
- Lake Kiwa: gatherable nodes for all levels 10-29.
- Forever Tree: gatherable nodes for all levels 30-39.
- The Thriving Isles: gatherable nodes for all levels 40-59.
- The Stone Gardens: gatherable nodes for all levels 60-74.
Tool Required
Mining requires a Mining Pick - strong mining picks can be used to accumulate pristine specimens of copper, mithril, koldcore, and more. The following variants of the Mining Pick exists:
Level | Name | Level | Name | |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Dull Copper Pick | 50 | Pointed Silver Pick | |
5 | Pointed Copper Pick | 55 | Sharp Silver Pick | |
10 | Sharp Copper Pick | 60 | Blunt Pyrrite Pick | |
15 | Blunt Tin Pick | 65 | Pointed Pyrrite Pick | |
20 | Pointed Tin Pick | 70 | Sharp Pyrrite Pick | |
25 | Sharp Tin Pick | 75 | Blunt Mithril Pick | |
30 | Blunt Iron Pick | 80 | Pointed Mithril Pick | |
35 | Pointed Iron Pick | 85 | Sharp Mithril Pick | |
40 | Sharp Iron Pick | 90 | Blunt Koldcore Pick | |
45 | Blunt Silver Pick |
Materials Gathered
Ore
Ore is a mineral. Because of impurities in the ore, ore can only be used to make single refined ingots.
Level | Name |
---|---|
1 | Copper Ore |
15 | Tin Ore |
30 | Iron Ore |
45 | Silver Ore |
60 | Pyrrite Ore |
75 | Mithril Ore |
90 | Koldcore Ore |
Luckinium
Luckiniums are a rare mineral only found deep underground. Occasionally the ore will mysteriously surface, allowing miners to extract the valuable mineral.
Luckinium are rare finds when mining in the world. It helps you gain an enormous amount of loot off a successful kill and can contain several charges. They don't work against bosses. Fortunately, though, you will not lose any charges for killing bosses with one active.
Level | Name |
---|---|
1 | Golden Luckinium |
15 | Stygian Luckinium |
25 | Scarlet Luckinium |
35 | Viridian Luckinium |
45 | Cerulean Luckinium |
55 | Violaceous Luckinium |
65 | Feldgrau Luckinium |
75 | Eucalyptus Luckinium |
85 | Alizarin Luckinium |
95 | Albicant Luckinium |
Tempered Shale
Tempered Shales can be broken down into oils that are highly beneficial for a variety of tasks. Mining with magical gems under great pressures not only make colored tempered shale extremely potent, but also extremely rare.
Tempered Shales are rare findings when mining in the world. They boost your armor and magic resist - and turns your skin to solid rock, which lasts 10'.
