Type Reinforcement

Mana Efficiency can be any of the following in Villagers & Heroes:

Mana Efficiency as a Rune[]

Reduces Mana Costs.

Acquisition[]

  • Mana Efficiency can be found on Boots and Trinkets.

Mana Efficiency as a Stat[]

Mana Efficiency reduces the mana used by your spells and feats by a certain percentage (Min = 0%; Max = 35%). Mana Efficiency is important for all classes, especially those that plan to use spells or feats with high Mana Costs and low Cooldowns. Those who do not invest in Mana Efficiency often find themselves using many Mana Potions to compensate for the high base costs of their spells and feats.

Acquisition[]

  • Mana Efficiency can be found either as a native stat or as a reinforcement rune. Mana Efficiency can be found on Boots, Necklaces, Rings, and Trinkets.
  • Mana Efficiency can be further increased for a time using Drams of Clarity or Scornyx.

Trivia[]

  • If Mana Efficiency isn't enough to bring mana usage to a manageable level, you will find that every class has at least one way to combat the constant mana drain. For example, Marksman Hunters have the Tricks of the Trade ultimate; Nature Hunters have the Gift of the Dryad ultimate; all other classes have a base Will bonus in the 5th talent in their middle talent tree. Even some trinkets and class abilities can be used to satisfy that mana craving. Further, one can increase Intellect in order to press passed long encounters and then use a mana potion outside of battle for more mana restoration.
  • Combined with Will and Intellect, Mana Efficiency can drastically decrease your mana potion consumption.
