Lem's Etched Driftwood is an item in Villagers & Heroes.
Crudely etched on the wood is what reads like a journal entry:
This island is so lush and wondrous. And the people here, so kind. Though I'm a stranger to them, they have welcomed me like family. There is a festival of some sort taking place. A child, a little girl, seems to have a place of honor within it. The people are bowing to her. They have placed what they call the Wreath of the Nautilus Shell around her shoulders.
Though I like it here, I have noticed that the people, kind as they are, are quick to anger. Hot blooded. A fight broke out over something trivial. It makes me nervous how sudden their rage was. Like something dangerous boiling always under the surface of the kindness.
I do not wish to live here, I shall set sail for another island. To any who come after me and are reading this, I suggest you move on , and quickly.
Acquisition
