Inertia Investigation is a Quest in Villagers & Heroes.

Tully says that the giant golden doors at the top of Turnapin Peak are closed, which means we can’t continue on into Gortrin Passage. We need to figure out how to get the doors open! Tully also says that Nadia, Biz, Beryl, and Basil are behaving strangely. They don’t seem to care at all about getting the doors open, and don’t seem to want to do anything escept stand around and do absolutely nothing. Tully wants to wring their necks. He asked me to find each of them, and try to talk some sense into them and tell them to get back up to camp, so that we can all work on the problem at hand, getting the doors open. Dialogue

Tully:You "That doesn't sound like them at all."

Tully: "If I talk to them again, I really might wring their necks! <Player Name>, will you please give it a whirl?"

You "Sure thing!"

Tully: "Try to talk some sense into each of them, and tell them to get back to camp so that we can all work on the pressing problem at hand together! We've made camp at the top of the peak."

Talking to Basil[ | ]

Basil: "Basil catching snowflakes on his tongue."

You "Right. And is that the best use of your time, Basil? Let's get back to camp now!"

Basil: "No. Basil don't want to move. Basil busy with snowflakes. Pretty snowflakes!"

You "Basil, we need to figure out how to get the golden doors open! So come on, let's go! Hustle!"

Basil: "Basil don't care about golden doors. Basil like snowflakes. Basil staying here."

You "I'm starting to see how Tully felt. Basil, enough! Time to go to camp!"

Basil: "No. Goodbye!"

Talking to Biz[ | ]

Biz: "Hello. There's a tiny speck of rust on my dagger. So that got me thinking about rust. Why is rust brown, do you suppose?"

You "Don't know, don't care. Biz, what are you doing? You need to be at camp with the others!"

Biz: "Come to think of it, rust is more of a red than a brown. Don't you think?"

You "I think we need to get the golden doors open! Come on, Biz, let's go work on that!"

Biz: "Mmm. Maybe later. I think I'll just stay where I am. You know, I think rust has some orange in it, too."

You "Biz!"

Biz: "So long, <Player Name>."

Talking to Beryl[ | ]

Beryl: "I think my horse wandered off somewhere. I should probably look for him. Maybe I will later."

You "Because you're busy doing something much more productive right now? Beryl, what is going on with you all?"

Beryl: "Going on? Nothing that I know of. Should there be something going on? Well, I'm sure we'll get to it later, whatever it is. No hurry."

You "Yes, there is! We've got to figure out how to get the doors open!"

Beryl: "Maybe after I take a nap."

You "Time to go back to camp now!"

Beryl: "So long, <Player Name>!"

Talking to Nadia[ | ]

Nadia: "Oh. It's you. Hello. It's pretty here, isn't it?"

You "Yes. Nadia, what are you doing?"

Nadia: "Hmm? Oh, not much. Just kinda standing here. I was going to build a fire, but now I don't really feel like it. Collecting wood is a bit of a bore. It's a lot of work."

You "You're acting weird, Nadia. Just like the others! Let's go up to camp now, okay?"

Nadia: "Nah. I don't really feel like walking up there. Maybe tomorrow, or the next day, I will."

You "The Crux, Nadia, the Crux! To get there, we have to get the golden doors open first!"

Nadia: "Maybe next week. So long, <Player Name>."

Talking to Tully[ | ]

Tully: "Well, I don't see Nadia, Biz, Beryl, or Basil with you, so I'm guessing you didn't have any luck with them either?"

You "Afraid not. They all seem completely disinterested in doing anything at all!"

Tully: "What a mess. And how are we supposed to get these golden doors open? They're not frozen. So there must be some sort of strange magic at play. Beryl is our enchantment expert, and she only wants to take naps!"

You "We've got to figure out what's going on with those four!"

Tully: "I passed a woman named Igraine on the way up here. Maybe she knows something. How about you go talk to her?"

You "Yes, I'll do that!"

Tully: "Thanks. We'll try some different spells on the doors in the meantime. See you soon!"
