Bug Lore

Bug Lore is a skill in Villagers & Heroes.

With Bug Lore a player can look in all sorts of nooks and crannies to find the creepy crawlies of the Seven Realms. Explore Ant Hills, Rotted Logs, Spider nests, and a variety of other grubby places to find the best of the best bugs. If bugs interest you then you may visit the town of Mounds in the Realm of Ardent, a small community of avid bug lovers and collectors.

Gather Locations

Insect Mounds

Using an Insect Mound will find Bugs up to two levels below and two levels above the level of the Insect Mound, with the exception of the Cronk Island Insect Mounds, which only have bugs of the same level.

Magnifying Glass

Magnifying Glasses help the grubber find the most interesting specimens.

Materials Gathered

Worms

Worms of all different shapes and sizes can be useful in spirit-restoring potions.

Legged Bugs

Legged bugs include ants, spiders, and beetles. This leggy critters are often used to enhance blacksmith blazons.

Dragonflies

Dragonflies are rare bugs that come in a variety of colors. Special dies and pigments can be harvested from their wings.

Monarchs

Monarchs, much like the dragonflies, are very rare and come in several shades of bright colors.
