Dialogue

Sapphira De’Brun : "We are here, we made it."

You "What is this place?"

Sapphira De’Brun : "They call this Blight Haven. Apparently, it is the only portion of land in the entire region untouched by Blight. Why that is, I don't know. But I'm glad for it."

Gained 210k experience!

You "Interesting. So where do we begin?"

Sapphira De’Brun : "A go-getter attitude, I like it, and should expect no less from the savior of the Brindles! Well, according to Kahn, elaborate measures were taken to hide the artifacts we seek, with one artifact hidden within each of the four Blights."

You "The four Blights?"

Sapphira De’Brun : "Yes, there are four types of Blight, Blood, Death, Ash, and Shade. Each looks different, have corrupted the islands differently, and have different negative effects. Each Blight has corrupted multiple islands, with the Death Blight also affecting this small island across the Bay."

You "And what are the artifacts we are looking for?"

Sapphira De’Brun : "There are four artifacts total that have been reported stolen. First is the Crystalline Dagger, which was a dagger created and owned by the Crystal Lady, the very one who helped the four Elders. It is said to be hidden within the Blood Blight."

You "And what are the artifacts we are looking for?"

Sapphira De’Brun : "There are four artifacts total that have been reported stolen. First is the Crystalline Dagger, which was a dagger created and owned by the Crystal Lady, the very one who helped the four Elders. It is said to be hidden within the Blood Blight." You "What else?"

Sapphira De’Brun : "There is also the Coral Pendant. This powerful necklace was once owned by Mallok himself, and with it he controlled the monsters of the sea. Rumor has it that it is somewhere within the Death Blight."

You "What else?" Sapphira De’Brun : "There is the Manticore's Claw, which is exactly what it sounds like - an actual claw from a Manticore that once served Mallok. The beast was killed by Calypso in the elder days, but the claw retains the power to resurrect the horrific creature. Kahn thinks there is a good chance the claw is in the Ash Blight."

You "And what of the final artifact?"

Sapphira De’Brun : "Finally there is the Thistle of Larr. This strange plant causes people to go violently insane if they are pricked by one of its thorns. Surprisingly Mallok searched for the Thistle, but never found it. Why it has resurfaced now after centuries is unknown, but it is rumored to be within the Shade Blight."

You "Which artifact should I start looking for?"

Sapphira De’Brun : "All of them are equally dangerous, and I'm guessing equally challenging to find. The order you look for them is entirely up to you."

You "So where should I begin my search?"

Sapphira De’Brun : "As you can see, not all of the denizens of the Blighted Isles were fully corrupted. Most that were afflicted became crazed monstrous creatures. However these few, as well as some others, retained their will and actively search for ways to thwart Theobald, as well as save their kin."

You "So to these individuals I must go."

Sapphira De’Brun : "Yes. I think a good starting point would be for you to survey this small town and attempt to meet some of the local experts. Once you have earned their trust, see if you can get a lead for each of the four artifacts, then return to me and let me know of your progress.
